This policy document outlines the policies and procedures concerning the rental of our catering equipment. This document aims to ensure the safe and proper use of our equipment, protect our equipment from damage, and provide a consistent and efficient rental process for our customers.

Payment Terms:

Payment is due in full at the time of rental. We accept payment by credit / debit card through our website.

Damage Policy:

Customers are responsible for the equipment from when it leaves our premises until it is returned. Any damage to the equipment must be reported immediately, and the customer may be held responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.

Delivery & Pick-Up:

Delivery and pick-up of equipment can be arranged for an additional fee. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the equipment is ready for pick-up at the designated time.

Cancellation Policy:

Customers may cancel their rental at any time prior to the rental period. However, any cancellations within 48 hours of the rental period will result in a charge equivalent to 50% of the total rental fee.

Equipment Maintenance:

Customers are responsible for properly maintaining the equipment during the rental period. Any equipment returned in a dirty or damaged condition will incur additional charges.

Liability:

The customer assumes all liability for the equipment while it is in their possession. AfriksoupIsland will not be held liable for any injury or damage resulting from the use of the equipment.
